Shine Your Light

This is for the hurting, the damaged, the pained, the broken & the brokenhearted.
Maybe things seem very dark for you right now.
Maybe you are hurting because of someone else’s hurt or brokenness. 
Life can be so unfair. 
God can be so unfair. 
I want you to know that I see you. 
And I believe you can turn your scars into stars. 
A scar is a mark on your body. 
It was caused by pain. 
I have five scars on my body. 
They were the result of many surgeries after a suicide attempt. 
They tell the story of where I’ve been, all I’ve seen and all I’ve had to endure. 
They remind me of my incredible strength and courage. 
You need to find that thing in you, that little ray of hope that lights you up. 
The storms have rained on your parade and put out the light that shines from within. 
You have lost your fire. 
Trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. 
Just trust that. 
Embrace God and His perfect plan. 
I know there’s an ember of hope, glimmering within you. 
A faint spark. 
The fire in your belly. 
A burning desire. 
You get to bring God’s vision for your life alive and let it gleam through every pore of your being. 
You will ignite the world on fire. 
Know that you are bright, beautiful, radiant and sparkling. 
You’ve been burned, but your pain in life has brilliance and will take you far and make you glow because of how you can help others on the same path. 
Be proud of all you have come through. 
You are a treasure put on this earth. 
I found God on my journey. 
I wasn’t always a believer, but somehow knew he was there for me, protecting me and keeping me safe. 
He will be there for you, too. 
God had a better plan for me than I ever had for myself. 
What started as a tumultuous time were seeds he was planting for my business and the way I help others in their own shattered lives. 
I believe every pain carries with it a seed for greatness, blossoming you into who you are meant to be.
